Petrol hit $2 per litre.
That’s where this started.
But the conclusion?
It was never about petrol.
👉 The problem is not the price.
This entire series comes down to one thing:
👉 Where you choose to look
Most people focus on:
- Prices
- News
- Fear
And they get pulled around.
But that’s the wrong place to look.
👉 Look at the structure.
Petrol prices are driven by:
- Global events
- Exchange rates
- Supply and demand
👉 All outside your control
So don’t fight there.
👉 You won’t win.
Instead:
👉 Design your life
That’s everything we did in this series:
- Don’t predict prices
- Don’t rely on small savings
- Fix your fixed costs
- Redesign how you move
- Treat it as an external risk
- Absorb it with your emergency fund
It all connects.
👉 Don’t endure
👉 Design
One important thing:
👉 Design is not a one-time fix
You adjust.
You improve.
You refine.
Step by step.
And one day, you realise:
Petrol goes up…
👉 And nothing happens.
That’s the goal.
👉 You’ve absorbed it
At that point, you’re playing a different game.
No more reacting to prices.
👉 You’re living by structure.
One last rule:
Use your emergency fund to absorb shocks.
Then rebuild it — no matter how long it takes.
If you can do that,
You’re not just prepared for petrol prices.
You’re prepared for:
- Inflation
- Currency changes
- Interest rates
👉 External risks don’t disappear
👉 But you can absorb them
That’s what design is.
