By the time you read this,
our life may look different.
Maybe we won’t be on the boat.
Maybe our work will have changed.
But I want you to remember one thing:
Success is not an address.
It is not a high-rise office.
It is not a luxury postcode.
It is not a large house.
Those are visible symbols.
They are not the structure underneath.
About Your Father’s Work
From the outside,
your dad might look like a man who doesn’t work.
He doesn’t commute every morning.
He doesn’t wear a suit daily.
He doesn’t have a fixed monthly salary.
His model is different.
He works in high-value, irregular projects.
Not often — but when he does, it matters.
He chooses the work he wants to do.
And in between, he maintains our life.
Boat systems.
Electrical wiring.
Engines.
Infrastructure.
It may not look like a “job” to society.
But it keeps our world running.
Work is not always visible.
Why I Still Work Three Days a Week
I still work on land three days a week.
Not because I’m afraid.
Not because we have no choice.
But because structure matters.
Your father’s income comes in waves.
So we keep one stable bridge.
We do not burn bridges.
Freedom is not created by jumping.
It is built in stages.
Lower fixed costs.
Secure savings.
Keep one stable income.
Plant seeds on the side.
That is design.
What I Want You to Understand
You can become an employee.
You can become independent.
You can work in projects.
All of them are fine.
But whatever you choose,
you must be able to explain your structure.
How does money come in?
What are the risks?
What are you protecting?
What are you building?
If you cannot explain it,
you are not designing — you are drifting.
What Freedom Really Is
Freedom is not doing nothing.
Freedom is the ability to design.
Where you work.
How much you work.
What risks you take.
What you refuse.
Big income does not guarantee freedom.
Structure does.
The Meaning of the “Office” on the Water
When you see me working on the boat,
that is not luxury.
That is not showing off.
That is structure.
Even in a transition phase.
Even while planting seeds.
Even while still working part-time.
We are not finished.
We are designing.
If someone asks you one day,
“What is success?”
Tell them this:
Success is having your own structure.
