This message is not meant to crush children’s dreams.
It exists to prevent children from breaking themselves unnecessarily.
As adults, we often say:
- “If you try hard, you can do it.”
- “Don’t give up on your dream.”
But how often do we also explain that
some paths have limited seats?
There are places where effort alone is not enough.
That is not a problem of personality or ability.
It is a structural issue.
When children are taught effort without structure,
they start to believe that failure means something is wrong with them.
What we hope parents will share at home is simple:
- Not succeeding does not mean no value
- Changing direction is not weakness
- Sometimes stopping is wiser than continuing
- Staying mentally and physically intact is a valid choice
If you encourage dreams,
please also give your child a map.
That balance is part of adult responsibility.
